Why Would I Send One Of These Fancy Fanx Messages?

• You can make a big deal out of saying thank you.


• Fanx showcase people who have done good things!


• When fanx.com send your message, we send the recipient an email that says..

This links to their own personal page of fanx.com (example below) and adds them to a showcase of people who have done good things on the sites home page, or, if desired, the message can be made visible only to the recipient.

What Do I Get?

How Does It Work?

Step 1

Click the

start your fanx

Section and complete the information required. If in doubt, click the video below to see it happen.

Note. To send a fanx message to a group of people, click the "send a group fanx?" on the left hand side of the form. The form will change and include a group sending facility, including the option to choose from your own contact storage method. If you prefer, you can also type the emails one at a time, but be sure to separate each one with a comma.

Step 2

Click the green button that says "Click here to upload a profile picture". This appears in the message, next to your name. You can then preview this picture, by hovering the mouse over the "preview" section on the left hand side of the form. You can click the video below to see this in action.

Step 3

Next, you can add a picture of your own to the message or choose one from our own gallery of "thank you pictures". The picture is added as a large image on the right hand side of your message text. To see this as it would appear to the person that you are sending the message to, hover over the "preview" section on the left hand side of the form. Step 4

If you would like other people to know that you are thanking the person, click "copy people into your fanx" just below the options to add a picture. Here, you can add more emails to send a link for the message to people who might like to see it. To see this in motion, click the video below.

Step 5

The next option down is "Phone number" This option is to additionally alert the recipient to the fanx message by text message. If they have a "smart phone", this will appear as a link, if not, they can enter the URL provided (they will receive instructions on how to do this). To see this in action, click the video below.

Step 6

Your almost done! Choose from the remaining 3 "tick box" items to decide;

1. That you are happy for the message to appear to all visitors to fanx.com - if not, un-tick it!

2. Are you happy for us to allow another company to offer you a product that we think you might like

(don't worry if you are not happy for this to happen. Just leave it un-ticked - We will not do aything that would upset our beloved users, so you can be safe in the knowledge that your details are secure)

3. You must accept the privacy policy - this is interweb protocol. We are just following the rules

Step 7

The easiest step of all! Check that your message is good to go and click "Send your fanx" at the bottom of the form!
